In-House Ultrasound Facility
Women's Healthcare of New Milford conveniently offers in-house ultrasound. Our facility is fully acredited by the American College for Radiology (ACR) for Obstetric and Gynecological scans. We provide first trimester screening for early detection of fetal abnormalities as well as comprehensive 2nd and 3rd trimester ultrasound. We also offer pelvic and transvaginal scans for our gynecological patients. The facility is also equipped and staffed for procedures such as ultrasound guided intrauterine device (IUD) placement, sonohysterography, and amniocentesis.
Our sonographer, Lorraine Albert R.D.M.S., has over 15 years experience in sonography with a registered specialization in OB-GYN. Lorraine is certified in first trimester screening and fetal nasal bone assessment.
